Work description

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our smart grids and electric vehicles laboratory (SGEVL). The professional will be responsible for specifying and implementing software architectures for communication and management of conversion systems, as well as developing software for electric vehicle chargers according to specific standards and protocols. Additionally, the developer will implement a platform for managing electric vehicle infrastructure.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or related areas.

Minimum profile required

- A minimum of 5-year experience in the area is required- Experience in specification and implementation of software architectures (Git and Docker)- Experience in Python and C/C++, and familiarity with relevant frameworks.- Knowledge of communications schemes based on MODBUS (TCP/RTU), CAN, WebSockets and HTTP, data management using SQL.

Preference factors

- Experience with communication standards for electric vehicles such as OCPP and ISO15118. - Experience with hardware and software integration, especially in IoT contexts. - Fluency in English (written and spoken).
