Work description
The duties to be performed include: a) implementation of R&D projects in the area of the energy transition, namely in smart energy grids, demand-side management and energy efficiency, digitalization of the electricity sector; b) definition of new opportunities and areas of activity, innovation and technology transfer for the decarbonization of society; c) leadership of R&D teams in the area of sustainable energy systems; d) Scientific supervision and training of postgraduate HR.
Academic Qualifications
PhD degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related scientific area.
Minimum profile required
Doctorates for no more than five years, with post-doctoral experience compatible with the category of Assistant Researcher, with no requirement to demonstrate scientific independence. Experience in the development and application of machine learning algorithms to engineering problems. Proven experience in Python coding.
Preference factors
Participation in research and development projects in sustainable energy systems. Experience with software version control tools (preferably Git).
