Power Systems - Microgrids
[Closed]
Work description
Development of an energy management and power dispatch tool to optimize the management of industrial microgrids integrating different energy storage systems technologies and other distributed energy resources, namely electric vehicles and combined heat and power generation. The dispatch strategies will not only focus on the optimization of the microgrid, as well as enable the provision of flexibility services. The work will involve modelling different technologies of energy storage, namely Li-ion, Redox flow considering their dynamic behavior, degradation and efficiency. Appropriate documentation and dissemination is expected to be produced
