Work description
As part of the FIRE-RES project, the grantee will have to develop tasks with the aim of designing an effective risk communication plan for leisure activities, targeting the rural population in the context of forest fires. The work will be developed by exploring the reasons adjacent to resistance to behavioral change and defining guidelines to support the design of new risk communication strategies, including the dissemination of new behaviors that mitigate rural fires. This research will follow a mental models approach proposed by Morgan (2001).
Academic Qualifications
PHD student in Industrial Engineering and Management or a related field.
Minimum profile required
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology or a related field.Publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and presentations at international conferences related to the grant topic.Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Preference factors
Previous experience in publishing scientific articles in scientific journals ranked in the first quartile of the Journal of Citation Reports. Knowledge of the mental models methodology proposed by Morgan (2001).
