Work description
Implementation and otimization of a hybrid deduplication system that combines inline and offline deduplication techniques. The system’s prototype must be implemented through the SPDK platform and experimentally evaluated with realistic workloads. The tasks described in this working plan demand the application and development of concepts and techniques in the area of Software Engineering which are usually introduced in curricular units included in the curricula of the Mestrados Integrados em Engenharia Informática or Mestrado em Engenharia Informática studies.
Academic Qualifications
BSc Degree in Informatics Engineering Sciences.
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge and experience on implementing deduplications systems.- Knowledge on operating systems.- Experience with the SPDK platform.
Preference factors
- Knowledge on hibrid deduplications systems.
