Work description
- Analysis of the planning problem and its requirements; - Review of the state of the art in approximate solution methods applied to similar planning problems; - Selection of the type of solution method to be developed; - Development of the solution method; - Evaluation of the developed method and computational experiments; - Documentation of research results.
Academic Qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering and Industrial Management, or similar.
Minimum profile required
Fluency in English language;Knowledge in linear and integer programming;Programming skills in the Python language;Previous contact with the development of approximate solution methods for optimization problems.
Preference factors
Previous experience in decision methods applied to natural resources-based supply chains.
