Underwater Robotics

Work description

- Study ways of implementing digital filters and develop models in Matlab/Octave of a bank of digital filters and respective functional validation with synthetic and real data; - Develop in digital hardware a bank of digital bandpass filters and other digital signal processing blocks, intended for a reconfigurable FPGA device integrated into an embedded computer; - Develop software applications to support the developed system, namely the configuration/parameterization of the filter bank; - Integrate the developed system with the remaining modem components and participate in its experimental validation. - Write the scholarship activity report.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computers, or a related field.

Minimum profile required

Bachelor's average degree higher than 14 points.

Preference factors

- enrolled in a master's degree in electrical engineering and computers in the area of ??electronics, digital systems and telecommunications; - experience using scientific calculation tools (Matlab/Octave); - knowledge of systems design for digital signal processing; - knowledge of digital design techniques for FPGA devices using Verilog/VHDL and RTL synthesis; - experience in using embedded computing systems.
