Work description

Coordination and execution of R&D projects and valorisation of knowledge, preparation of applications for R&D projects, team management and supervision of junior researchers, scientific production oriented to international journals and conferences, intervention in the scientific and professional communities, as well as coordination and participation in scientific and technological dissemination initiatives.

Academic Qualifications

PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific area

Minimum profile required

PhD for more than 5 years, with a relevant curriculum in the scientific area to which the candidate is applying, demonstrating scientific independence in the last 3 years, and in this period with a minimum number of 3 publications in international Q1 journals (SCOPUS), excluding publications in MDPI and Frontiers journals. Previous experience in the preparation of proposals and implementation of national and international research projects in the communications domain.

Preference factors

proficiency in English; publications in last 5 years in Q1 journals and CORE A*/A/B conferences and participation in international research projects in the area of Telecommunications and Wireless Networks; experience in interacting with national and international stakeholders (companies, RTO, universities) and in evaluating and identifying opportunities in the communications area; experience in management positions within international research teams and projects in the Communications Scientific Domain.
